Hobnobbing with the Elite

December is quickly approaching and that means preparations are beginning to be made: gifts are gotten, the house is decorated, Christmas DVDs are brought out, David Sedaris’ holiday classic “Holidays on Ice” is dusted off and placed bedside, a sweater is procured, and facial hair is grown. Yes, it truly is the most wonderful time of the year.

Next year, take the holidays to another level. Adopt my perfected routine and start growing your Christmas ‘stache in October. Thanks to the American Mustache Institute, aficionados of life have a reason to start the holiday season with Halloween, not Thanksgiving. Every year, St. Louis hosts a party for the elite- the Mustache Bash- at Lumiere Place casino. So next year, forget your neighbor’s “costume party” or a haunted hey ride and head to the Bash, facial hair at the ready and have a blast knowing that you will wake up the next day feeling great to have gotten a jump on your holidays stache.
