Pha That Luang – Vientiane, Laos

The Pha That Luang, or Golden Stupa, is one site any trip to Vientiane must include. Built in 1566 and restored numerous times over the centuries, the temple today stands in amazing condition and is painted  gold. The complex also includes three temples and a statue of King Setthathirat.
